Congratulations on the victory there Ed!

Castorina, as we now see was not just an isolated victory but the fountain for a string of victories. Kirk and his team did a great job with the Castorina case and now the kids in other places are benefiting.

God Bless Dixie Kids!!

Subject: Heritage Victory in Ohio

We've had an ongoing battle with a school district here in Ohio where the son of a member of my camp was taken to task for wearing a shirt with the BF on it to school.  The boy, who is 13, is also a SCV member. I notified Don Shelton awhile back about this heritage violation and he sent me the Castorina packet along with an advisory packet on how to handle the case. The father presented the Castorina info to the superintendent who sent it to their lawyer for review. Below is a message I received today from the father. The Castorina case was the clincher!.....It's great to have some good news for a change!

Score One for the Good Guys!.................Ed

Gentlemen: I have just got word from the Superintendent of Margaretta Schools and he has informed me that Jeremy may start wearing shirts with the Confederate Flag printed on them again. There are details of our conversations with him I will go over when we meet this weekend, but the short of it is the ban is lifted. The Superintendent will send me a letter affirming that there will be no ban and have it to me by the middle of next week. Until I see what is in the letter and how and what is actually stated therein, I will have Jeremy refrain from wearing any Confederate shirts to school. With the Lord's blessing, this will be the end of "this battle" and that his (the superintendent's) letter will not be watered down or vague. Tim, Scott and Ed thank you for all your help, this victory belongs to all of us and those who cherish our ancestors and their struggle for liberty. Scott/Ed could you see that Tim gets this message. I will see you all Sunday and thank you again. God Bless.
