Floyd High School Heritage
Contest Winner Announced

 

Floyd, VA - The Board of Directors of the Southern Legal Resource Center, Inc., are proud to announce that Miss Keri Stodolski, a Floyd High School ninth grader, has won the First Annual Southern Legal Resource Center/Floyd County Essay Contest.  Miss Stodolski won $100 for her essay entitled "Free Speech in School."  The check will be presented to Keri during school on May 26th.

 

The Southern Legal Resource Center has voted to make the essay contest an annual event in the Floyd County schools.  Students or parents interested in entering next year’s contest may contact the Southern Legal Resource Center at P.O. Box 1235, Black Mountain, NC 28711; 828-669-5189.

 

The SLRC is non-profit, tax exempt, South Carolina public law firm that specializes in cases involving Southern Heritage violations.
