SLRC Weekly
Update
Dear Heritage Supporters:
What a fabulous week! I hope that
everyone enjoyed their week! I know that I for one, am looking forward
to next week's turkey and dressing. Next week we can all take time as
families to reflect upon our lives and be thankful for all the Lord has done
for us! We are truly blessed as Southerners! Here is what the
Southern Legal Resource Center has been busy with this week:
March Across Dixie
Well H.K. has made his way into
Mississippi. H.K. is making rapid progress but will be taking a short
break for the Thanksgiving holidays! He will resume marching on
Monday, December 2nd in Morton, MS. He is overwhelmed by all the love
he has received thus far. Thanks to everyone!
You may have a flag with a $50 donation to
the March Across Dixie.
Also we are proud to announce that the video
coverage of the march cannot be put on one tape. There is just too
much to cover, so it will be four hours long, available on two tapes.
You may reserve your copy of H.K.'s March Across Dixie with a $50 donation.
Southern Poverty Law
Center
We are sorry to report that Morris Dees is at
it again! The SLRC has submitted the following in response.

SLRC CONDEMNS HATEMONGER'S ATTACK ON SCV
The SLRC condemns in the strongest possible term the vicious attack on the
Sons of Confederate Veterans by the minions of the Southern Poverty Law
Center, a leftist hate group.
Writing for the Winter
"Intelligence" Update published by the Southern
"Poverty" Law Center, Heidi Beirich and Mark Potok paint a
completely distorted and false picture of the 106 year old Sons of
Confederate Veterans.
"Their are at least 16 demonstrable
factual errors in the piece," said Kirk D. Lyons Chief Trial Counsel of
the SLRC and long a victim of the SPLC's hatred. "When you add in
the skewed and dishonest interpretation and their ongoing defamation of some
very decent, patriotic & law-abiding people, you can get an idea how
worthless a piece the article is." Lyons added.
"With its perverted far left outlook,
the SPLC is obviously smarting from all their friends getting kicked out of
office from coast to coast," said SLRC CEO Lourie A. Salley, III.
The SLRC encourages all citizens to learn
more about the SPLC and its many threats to civil liberties in the US.
The SLRC is non profit Tax exempt South
Carolina public law firm that
specializes in cases involving Southern Heritage violations
Taylor County, Florida
Taylor County Board of Education has
banned the Confederate flag in Taylor County schools. We have obtained
local counsel in the area and I am busy taking fact statements from
schools. There are a number of parents and students that are willing
to take a stand against this injustice. We will keep you posted!
Castorina
We are still busy mailing out Castorina
packets to parents and SCV members who are busy fighting for their
children's rights. We are happy to arm parents and SCV members with such
ammunition!
Kirk To Be In Texas
Kirk
will be in Austin, TX for two weeks beginning Sunday, November 24th. If any
SCV camps would like him to speak at a camp meeting regarding H.K.'s March
Across Dixie, he would be more than willing to. Kirk will be attending the
25th Anniversary of the George Washington Littlefield Camp charter while in
Texas.
