SLRC UPDATE:

SLRC Weekly Update
Dear Heritage Supporters:
I hope that everyone is doing well and is getting
back into the groove after the holidays. This has been a busy week
for the Southern Legal Resource Center. HK is making his way into
the great state of Texas. He is enjoying himself immensely.
March Across Dixie
HK has had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed
himself at the welcoming ceremony at Logansport, LA on Saturday.
Those of you that were there can testify to the fact that it was a
wonderful event! Around 350 to 400 people were in attendance and
the mayor of Logansport issued a proclamation stating that Saturday,
January 4th was "HK Edgerton Day!" Texas Division Commander, Steve
Lucas, spoke and issued his proclamation as well declaring it "HK
Edgerton Day" in Texas! The Commander in Chief spoke as well and
marched with HK. By the way the CiC has pledged a dollar a mile
for the whole march - every member should follow his example to the best
of their ability.
You may still order a video of the march ($60.00)
and reserve your flag. There are still flags available for $50.00,
so make your request today by calling 828-669-5189. It's not too
late to make pledges to HK's March Across Dixie! PLEDGE TODAY!!!
Navarro County, Texas
A district court judge in Navarro County Texas
ordered by judicial fiat last year that the Confederate flag flying at
the courthouse be removed and that Confederate flags were banned from
the Courthouse square. No lawsuit was in place over the issue, the
judge just ordered it's removal. SLRC is in the last stages of
preparation of the lawsuit against the Judge, which hopefully will be
filed shortly after HK leaves Corsicana next week.
Racist Food Lawsuit
No we are not joking. A lawsuit will be
filed in Aiken County, SC on Monday morning in the racist food lawsuit.
Y ou may not know that Dixie crackers, moon pies and BBQ sauce are
offensive to black people, but stay tuned, all will be made known.
Kirk will be flying to TX (courtesy of a
supporter's buddy pass.) He will be calling the dances at the
General Joe Shelby Ball in Chatfield, TX and raising funds for HK's
March Across Dixie. Pray for safe travel.
What a great way to start off the new year!
