SLRC UPDATE:

SLRC Weekly Update
Dear Heritage Defenders:
This has been a great week for us.
We are facing a deadline on one case. I have also been taking a
lot of fact statements in the state of Arkansas. Just recently
Ouachita County schools have banned Confederate symbols. The
Arkansas SCV is heavily involved and many irate parents have been
calling to report incidents. This has been a busy week for us.
Dupont
Seven DuPont employees in the
Richmond, VA plant are bringing a suit against their employer for the
banning of Confederate symbols in the workplace. Many of these
employees are members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and are making
a firm stance for their heritage. We are due to file a complaint
on behalf of the employees by May 27th. Please consider
pledging to help this case in its early stages.
Packaging Corp. of
America
The PCA plant
in Tennessee has disallowed employee Steve Turner from displaying
Confederate symbols in the workplace. An EEOC complaint was filed
today on Steve’s behalf. I will keep you posted as details unfold.
I would ask those of you who cherish your
heritage and your Southern ancestry to fill out a pledge card and donate
frequently to the Southern Legal Resource Center.
For the Cause,
