SLRC Weekly Update
Dear Heritage Defenders:
Greetings Southern Heritage Defenders! I have been inundated
with calls from Person County, NC. On Monday the principal
announced over the intercom that students would no longer be allowed to
display Confederate symbols at school. Many students have been
suspended this week and been threatened with violence from fellow
students. The situation is quite explosive and I have taken
numerous fact statements. We are hopefully going to be in Roxboro
early next week to meet with all of the parents and students.
Kirk is currently on his way to Elm Springs. The SCV is holding
its General Executive Council meeting tomorrow. Any SCV members
near Columbia, TN should make it a point to attend this most important
meeting.
We are happy to announce that we now have access to computer assisted
legal research for only $150. We will have access to all state
cases and state statutes plus all federal cases and federal statutes.
We lost our computer assisted legal research with Westlaw when we were
unable to pay the monthly fee. Although our new access is
considerably cheaper it is still $150 a month. We need a donor or
group that will be willing to cover this $150 fee per month. If
you are interested, please contact Allison Schaum at 864-476-0656 or at
slrc@crystalink.com.
Please send in your pledge today. REMEMBER YOUR PLEDGE IS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE!
