SLRC Weekly Update

Dear Heritage Defenders:

Greetings Southern Heritage Preservationists!  As I reported last week, I was flooded with calls from Person County, NC.  I took more fact statements this week.  Kirk, Rick Wilkerson and Roger Macredie journeyed to Person County on Thursday to meet with parents and students.  The meeting went very well and we signed up families.  Local SCV camps were represented and are eager to assist locally.  I will keep you informed as details unfold.

Kirk is currently on his way to Logan County, KY.  Logan County has felt that it does not have to get in line with the Castorina ruling.  As a result the Kentucky SCV ground forces and the SLRC will be meeting with parents and students on Saturday.  Local counsel for Castorina, Earl Ray Neal will also be in attendance.

I HAVE INCLUDED A COPY OF AN AFFIDAVIT THAT I AM ASKING ALL CONFEDERATE SOUTHERN AMERICANS TO FILL OUT AND MAIL TO: PO BOX 1235, BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC 28711

October 14th was the one year anniversary for HK Edgerton’s March Across Dixie.  On Tuesday, HK was in Hendersonville to commemorate that momentous day.  HK was in Travelers Rest on Wednesday as he was one year ago.  HK then traveled to Easley on Thursday where he was interviewed with the Easley Progress.  And as HK promised, he shall return to Clemson on Saturday.  He has planned to be at Toccoa, GA on Monday.

Please send in your pledge today.  REMEMBER YOUR PLEDGE IS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE!
