SLRC Weekly Update
Greetings Compatriots:
Well, HK Edgerton is up to it again! This week the SLRC and HK
have agreed that it is time for HK to march up north. He is
scheduled to leave Black Mountain on April 30, 2004. He is
scheduled to arrive in New York on July 4th. He will
then wrap up the march and arrive in Boston on the first day of the
Democratic National Convention late in July. A committee for the
march is being established to prepare for the momentous event.
However, we do need your help in that we have not thought of a suitable
name for HK’s march. If you have any great ideas, send them to my
email:

Kirk Lyons and his sons will be traveling to Liberty, SC tomorrow
along with me and my children to Commander in Chief Ron Wilson’s kick
off for his State Senate campaign. Pray for safe travel and a wonderful
turn out.
SLRC Condemns Ouster of Alabama
Chief Justice
The Board of Directors of the Southern Legal Resource Center, Inc
condemns in the strongest possible terms the actions of the Alabama
Supreme Court Judicial ethics panel that ousted Chief Justice Roy C.
Moore.
"With today's ruling by Alabama's judicial scalawags, Federal
ueber alles is the only rule of law that needs to be
remembered in any constitutional question involving the Federal
judiciary and the states," said SLRC Advisory Chairman, H.K. Edgerton.
"Reconstruction is alive and well in Alabama today," Edgerton added.
"I greatly admire Chief Justice Moore's stand and his courage in
accepting the consequences of that stand," said Kirk D. Lyons, the
SLRC's Chief Trial Counsel. "His view of the Constitution was the
correct one and he was right not to bend the knee, " Lyons concluded.
"This is a very sad day for the Constitution and the people of
Alabama and our nation," said Rick D. Wilkerson, Executive Director of
the SLRC. I guess Morris Dees and his minions at the SPLC run this
country after all," Wilkerson added.
The SLRC considers the actions of the panel illegal, contrary to law
and non-binding. The process amounted to a closed hearing. We
earnestly hope that the people of Alabama will speak loudly and re-elect
Moore to his Judgeship.
The Ten Commandments constitutionally BELONG in the foyer of the
Supreme Court Building.
