Greetings Compatriots:
This has been a busy week for the SLRC. Kirk is in Austin, TX this weekend. This afternoon he will be standing outside the Supreme Court Building in Austin, TX along with many others protesting the removal of the
Confederate plaques.
Kirk will also be attending the Battle of Hodge Oaks Plantation reenactment tomorrow and calling the dances at the ball as well. Kirk is also meeting with VFW officials regarding Hays County District 27 UIL ban on US
and Confederate flags. Hays County is not by any means over.
Kirk is also looking over a complete curriculum produced by the American Civil War Educational Society as a home school curriculum for 7-9 graders. The SLRC does not normally get involved with curriculum for home schoolers
but this is an outstanding curriculum prepared by retired West Point army officers and has been rejected by many mainstream politically correct school districts and appears to be ideal for home school use.
The March to Charleston was quite an experience for HK and he has announced that he will be marching to Richmond, Virginia and the DuPont Plant very soon. HK said that Richmond, VA is the modern day Alamo and we must
stay the course. He is planning on leaving in May. A route is being established and I will be contacting SCV camps and League chapters along the way. HK said he doesn’t want to beg along the way so reach
into your pockets and donate now for this MOST IMPORTANT march.
DuPont
This week we filed a corporate disclosure notice and appearance of counsel and our appeal brief will be filed within a month. DuPont filed a notice to execute the judgment in Buncombe County, NC. Stay tuned….
DuPont has already moved to collect against Kirk and more outrageously against the SLRC. The SLRC was not even named in the Court's order as being required to pay sanctions - only Kirk. Now DuPont filed a Notice
of Foreign Judgment against Kirk AND the SLRC in a Buncombe County, North Carolina Court.
The SLRC has filed a Motion for Sanctions against DuPont's attorney for filing the Notice against the SLRC. We will be seeking attorney’s fees as punishment for all the time we were forced to spend defending this
frivolous attempt to collect against the SLRC.
DuPont has not yet made a move to collect against our 7 DuPont clients, who at last count are still maintaining a weekly vigil in front of the DuPont plant.
Kirk attended the Virginia Division Convention last weekend and spoke with Commander Brag Bowling. Commander Bowling announced that the Virginia Attorney General is considering fraud charges against Tredegar Iron Works
for their statue of Lincoln. If you live in Virginia, give your Attorney General a call.
Racist Food Case
We have a required mediation by May 14th. We will keep you posted.
Lawrence County
We are currently working with our clients on nailing down a date for depositions. Depositions will be taking place during the month of May more than likely. As soon as a date is scheduled we will let you know.
Please send in your donations for this most important case. If this case is won it could have the same impact on school officials as Castorina v. Madison County. Pledge your support today.
